Our fully certified staff challenges students on their level. With smaller class sizes, students receive more individualized attention and teachers are willing to help students be successful, even if it means before or after-school tutoring. GCS offers a College Preparatory Diploma based on national standards that are taught from a Christian perspective. There are no state-mandated tests given; our focus is on preparing students for the SAT and the ACT. We offer Advanced Placement (AP) classes and dual enrollment with Valdosta State University and Wiregrass Technical College to those who qualify. Recent graduates have attended University of Georgia, Georgia Tech, Auburn University, University of Tennessee, Florida State University, Harding University, Faulkner University, Freed-Hardeman University and more! We also offer a Career Preparatory Diploma. Statistics point out that over 60% of future jobs will not require a four-year degree, but a vocational degree or certificate. Our campus has a fiber optic network that supports wireless access. We have one-to-one Chromebooks for our students as well as SMART Boards in the classrooms. There are many extra-curricular activities for students to be involved in (athletics, various clubs, literary, etc.) and since we are so small, all it takes is a student’s commitment in order to participate. Students are taught Bible and attend chapel on a daily basis.
