GCS Workday 2010
Saturday July 31, 2010 from 8:30am until.  Please meet in the Cafeteria.

In an effort to make the most of our workday, there are a few projects that we need people to “sign up” for.  Please email me ( Brad Lawson b-lawson@bellsouth.net) so we can make the most efficient use of our time.  These are: 

Painting the interior of the elementary:  8 people needed. 

• Please bring rollers, brushes

Painting in the back of the gym (back floor hallway, guest locker rooms):   OTHER WORK THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE (without a "sign up")  Replacing sand around playground equipment: 

• Spreading sand under/around playground equipment
• Bring shovels/rakes

 Taking things to be moved (possibly taken to the dump):  2-4 Trucks/trailers. 

• There are always things that accumulate on campus that need to be disposed of or moved around.

  General Cleaning/Painting: 

• Interior cleaning, touch up painting (possibly a classroom in the high school)
• Windows, doors, mirrors, etc.

General Grounds Maintenance: 

• Weedeating, trimming, raking, possibly mowing

 

There is always plenty to do.  Please make plans to attend the workday starting at 8:00 at the cafeteria.  Thank you in advance for your support!
