I
am attaching the example Georgia State Tax Return
Prepared by our CPA. Please share this with any donors
and let them know this is an example on how to take the
credit for their donation.

In May of 2008, Gov. Perdue signed HB1133 into
law. This allows Georgia taxpayers to direct their tax
dollars to private schools. It also gives private schools
an opportunity to offer scholarships to students. We are
excited to be working with
Georgia
Student Scholarship, Inc. (GASSO) and have already had two
meetings in regards to the benefits for taxpayers and those
seeking scholarships. Two $2,250 scholarships have already
been awarded. These meetings described the process of how
to donate to receive a dollar for dollar tax credit (up to
$2,500 for married filing jointly) on
GA state taxes
and how a student can receive thousands of dollars in
scholarships.
Below are attachments that include FAQs and different forms
for the process of donating and applying for scholarships.
Please call or come by our front office for more
information.
