Foreign Exchange Student Opportunities:

Over the past few years we have had the opportunity to host foreign exchange students at GCS.  This helps GCS in a lot of different ways.  These students have an impact in the classroom, the chorus, and the sports arenas. They also bring a diverse culture that expands our student’s knowledge about the world first hand.  Many families are a blessing and able to impact these students in how we live not just as Americans, but also as Christians.  We have students ready and able to come to GCS in the fall, but we need your help. 

There are students who can come for 5 months and 10 months, and you can choose which is best for you.  The school van will transport the students to school and back if necessary.  All you are responsible for is 2 meals per day; they buy their own lunch during the week.  If you have any interest or know of anyone who might want to keep a student please call Deland Guthrie or e-mail him at dguthrie@georgiachristian.org.  

Time is very critical and the best kids go fast.  You will make friends that will last a lifetime.

SmartBoards: We are very proud to announce that every elementary classroom at GCS has a SmartBoard in use.  A special thanks is in order for all of those who have donated the funds to make this possible. 

WOFSY Cookbooks:  The latest edition of the WOFSY Cookbook, "Serving from the Heart" is now on sale for $15.00.  All proceeds go toward projects benefiting GCS.  Please contact Paula Carpenter (pcarpenter@georgiachristian.org) or call the front office for more information.
