The GCS Board of Directors commissioned a campus Master Plan in 2013. The short term goals were to create a more pedestrian friendly campus, renovate the cafeteria and lay the groundwork for a two-phase capital campaign.
Phase I of the capital campaign is a 9,600 sq ft Middle School building. It will house four classrooms, an art room, science lab, media center and administration office space. The estimated building costs for the facility are $1,000,000. (Building for the Ages: Phase I)
At the beginning of October, 2016, a donor offered a $500,000 matching gift towards construction. He has challenged us to raise the remaining commitments by February, 2017, (to be fulfilled by August, 2017) so construction can be completed by the start of the 2017-18 school year. To date, we have raised $350,535 (2-13-17) in donations/commitments towards the matching gift.

*Commitments are needed by February, 2017 and fulfilled by August, 2017 in order to have new building ready for 2017-18 school year.
