Elementary

Grades 1-5 use the A Beka curriculum to include math, social studies, science, spelling, language arts, HBJ Reading, selected chapter books and other supplementary materials.   The elementary children have opportunities to learn outside of their classroom curriculum with weekly computer classes, art classes and P.E. Bible and a daily chapel service are also included in the elementary schedule. Georgia Christian's Elementary School has begun great progress on our new Writing Program. Library

The elementary library is working hard to enrich the love of reading to our young students. They do this with class library times and reading to the younger classes. Students are able to check out books, take Accelerated Reading tests and access other learning and research tools via the computers located in that library. The library keeps the students excited by a yearly Book Fair and Accelerated Reader activities.

New policies have been set in place for absences and tardiness at the elementary level.  Please be aware of the new policies as we approach the new school year.
