Benefit Dinner

The 2009 GCS Benefit Dinner featuring Tim McCormick took place December 10.

Mr. McCormick spent ten seasons in the NBA as a player. He was the #12 pick in the 1984 draft. Tim played for the Seattle Supersonics, Philadelphia 76ers, New Jersey Nets, Houston Rockets, Atlanta Hawks, and New York Knicks. Tim has worked with NBA players over the past fifteen years teaching strategies to improve performance and achieve greatness.

McCormick's catchphrase, "Never Be Average", is what he uses to spur on his listeners to reach their full potential as successful people, whether they be athletes, business people, or otherwise.  His presentation at the 2009 Benefit Dinner was an inspirational to us all.  Please make plans to attend next year's event, as a way to support Georgia Christian School, and to enjoy an inspirational evening.
