Payment Policy and Financial Information
It is my understanding that all tuition and fees for the school year are payable and due at the time of enrollment. The election of a monthly payment plan does not release me from this obligation. I understand that I am responsible for keeping my tuition payments current during the time my child is enrolled. Accounts that are more than two months delinquent and satisfactory arrangements have not been made will result in the student being dropped from class. I understand that monthly payments are made by an automatic debit plan through FACTS Tuition Management, which I sign and authorize. I have the option to prepay the tuition in one annual payment or two semester payments. These payments are made directly to GCS.
I understand that I may choose to make an annual payment in full. Payment is due August 1, 2008. Full tuition payment will be accepted through Monday August 4, 2008.. If full tuition is not made by this date, family will be placed on FACTS tuition plan. Payments in full paid to GCS by May 19, 2008 will have registration fee waived
I understand that I may choose to make two (2) semester payments. 1st semester payment is due August 1, 2008 and the 2nd semester payment is due December 1, 2008. Full semester payments will be accepted through Monday August 4, 2008. If full semester tuition is not made by these dates, family will be placed on FACTS tuition plan. Payments not received by the due date will be charged a 10% late fee on payment amount due.
I understand that if I choose the FACTS monthly payment plan, payments are budgeted over a period of 10 months. The 10 month payment plan begins August 1, 2008 and continues through May 2009. A one-time deferred payment processing fee of $38.00 per family is charged by FACTS.
Arrangements for tuition and other financial obligations must be completed before the student starts classes. All families must be:
1. Current to begin school
2. Current at Mid-term
3. Current to graduate (all grades)
Grades or report cards will not be issued at mid-term or end of the year unless tuition is current. Transcripts and other materials will not be sent to another school while the account remains open.
Late Registration: Tuition will be prorated only after October 15, 2008 of the first semester and February 13, 2009 of the second semester. Late registrants are still responsible for full registration and book fees.
Refunds: If an annual or semester tuition payment has been made, and the student is either expelled or withdraws because of disciplinary or academic problems, tuition monies WILL NOT be refunded. There will be a $500 withdrawal fee added to the tuition cost and you will be obligated to pay the tuition for the balance of the academic year.
Any student attending on the FACTS tuition plan who is either expelled or withdraws due to disciplinary or academic problems, is obligated to pay tuition for the balance of the academic year.
A limited amount of needs-based financial aid is available to students who qualify. Applications may be picked up in the business office. All financial aid applications are due in the business office by May 19, 2008.
