CURRICULUM 2005
SAT Scores
Georgia Christian School is a college preparatory school operating on a two-semester calendar year. Each semester is comprised of two nine-week sessions, culminating with a comprehensive final examination given in each class. Each academic course receives 1/2 Carnegie unit per semester. Advanced Placement and Honors courses are encouraged as part of our college preparatory curriculum. Available electives include, but are not limited to computer applications, art, music, business law, current events, study skills, psychology, human anatomy and physiology and yearbook. Students are enrolled in seven classes per day.
ADVANCED PLACEMENT (AP) CURRICULUM
GCS currently offers advanced placement courses in calculus.

A = 90 - 100 B = 80 - 89 C = 70 - 79 F = 0 - 69
FACULTY
GCS has 22 professional staff members. There are 10 academic staff members in high school, four (40%) of which hold a masters degree. There is a ratio of one professional staff member to 10 students.

PRE-SCHOOL - K5
K3 & K4 PROGRAM
The K3 & K4 program is either five 1/2 days or 5 full days weekly. The number of 1/2 day students will be limited to 6 per class on a first come, first served basis at the time of enrollment.
K5 PROGRAM
The K5 program is 5 full days each week.
