Since 1914, Christian education has been provided for young people and children at Georgia Christian School (Dasher Bible School). Located on 50 acres in the community of Dasher, the school is just five miles South of Valdosta, Georgia off Old US 41 on Dasher Road.

With seven major buildings, Georgia Christian School is a Christian, coeducational school offering both college preparatory and vocational preparatory diplomas. The school provides high quality teaching and learning to students from pre-school (K-3) through high school. The school is under the direction of a self-perpetuating board made up of alumni, educators and businesspersons. The school is affiliated with churches of Christ, but is not owned or directed by any church or individual.

The purpose of the school is to provide academic excellence in a Christian environment. It is our desire to have a school where the life of Christ will shine forth as a guiding light. Dedicated, caring, experienced and qualified teachers carry out the purpose of the school.
They love the children and give them the personal attention they need to learn and succeed.  Georgia Christian teachers are dedicated to providing academic excellence, good discipline, and respect for authority.  Some are graduates of the school and some have children attending Georgia Christian.

Our administrative staff is charged with insuring a sound financial basis and providing an environment that is safe and secure, free of crime and drugs.  Tuition together with gifts from friends, alumni, business foundations, and congregations fund the school's operation.  Reasonable tuition and fees are charged for this Christ-centered education.  At Georgia Christian School we are big enough to provide comprehensive, academic and extra-curricular programs. Yet we are small enough to offer individual attention to our students.

Georgia Christian School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, financial aid, athletic and other school-administered programs. Georgia Christian School is a member of the Georgia Independent School Association (GISA), the National Christian School Association (NCSA), and is fully accredited by the Georgia Accrediting Commission (GAC).
